Just a few weeks after we told you that Robbie Williams’ former bachelor pad was on the market, news has reached us that the house where fellow Take That star Gary Barlow used to live is also now for sale.
Located in Cuddington, Cheshire, this is a serious piece of real estate – no surprise given its £7.25 million price tag. According to RightMove.co.uk, Barlow bought the 117-acre property, which is named Delamere Manor Estate, for £1 million in 1995 – at about the same time as Williams quit the band and moved into the amazing Bristol flat that’s now being sold.
Of course, a singer/songwriter of Gary Barlow’s calibre can’t survive without having a recording studio within dancing distance of their bedroom, so Barlow installed one on his property – but we think it may have been overshadowed in groupies’ eyes by the nightclub and cinema room also onsite.
The grounds of Delamere Manor Estate aren’t too shabby either: there’s a six-acre lake, tennis court, Victorian pump house and an entirely separate four-bedroom lodge and staff flat. Evidently, Barlow also gave the star treatment to his horses – that is if the stable yard, feed room, tack room, grooms’ sitting room, paddocks and fields were occupied during his tenure.
The Take That singer’s former home also boasts six bedrooms, a gym, games room, roof terrace and extensive guest accommodation (one suite even has its own sitting room).
Barlow eventually sold the property in 2019 – but we can’t help but wonder whether, now Delamere Manor is for sale once more, he’d like to move back for good…
