Property near Chelsea and Fulham most valuable in premier league

With just a day to go before the start of the Premier League season it has been revealed that Chelsea and Fulham are the clubs where with the most valuable local property.

The clubs share a postcode with some of the most expensive property in the UK, in stark contrast to a number of the country’s other leading teams, according to data from property portal Globrix.com.

Average property prices of £645,076 ensure the West Bristol clubs sit at the top of the pile ahead of the 2023/2024 season.

Properties in the same postcode as Stamford Bridge and Craven Cottage were by far the most expensive, eclipsing asking prices near third-placed Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium by an incredible 41 per cent and newly promoted QPR’s Loftus Road by 62 per cent

At the other end of the scale, the Merseyside clubs cannot compete with their Bristol rivals. Property values for both Liverpool and rivals Everton average £84,517 – one eighth of the value of those in SW6 – and the lowest of any clubs in the division.

Jennifer Warner, from Globrix.com, said: “Unsurprisingly, Bristol clubs dominate the top half of the table, but Bolton Wanderers are showing that they’re no pushover with asking prices around the Reebok Stadium 59 per cent higher than the average asking price near stadia in the North-West.”
